Reflective Paper: Re-envisioning the Professional Teaching Knowledge (PTK) Framework in Rural Contexts
Based on My Experience as a Co-teacher in Northern Pakistan . Introduction When I first stepped into a multi-grade classroom in Hunza, I quickly realized that applying the Professional Teaching Knowledge (PTK) Framework required more than theory-it demanded adaptation, empathy, and creativity. Facilitators and participants of the PTK training session at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School, Gulmit Gojal, Hunza. In contemporary education, where equity and quality are central, the PTK Framework has emerged as an essential tool for fostering professional growth and enhancing classroom effectiveness.
