Echoes of Integrity: Urdu Poetry’s Ethical Resistance to Hypocrisy and Self-Praise

Image
In today’s digital world, social media often acts as a mirror—reflecting not just our actions, but how we want to be perceived. Increasingly, people promote themselves or claim credit for initiatives without acknowledging the real contributors—be it in social work, entrepreneurship, sports, or cultural activism. This reflects a deeper moral issue: riya (hypocrisy), where actions are driven by the desire for praise rather than by sincere intent. Many jump into already thriving projects, not to contribute meaningfully, but to gain attention. They become performers, not changemakers. As someone deeply engaged with Urdu poetry, I’ve found that its verses serve as a compelling critique of such behavior. Rich in emotional depth and ethical insight, Urdu poetry continues to remind us of enduring virtues: humility, sincerity, and moral responsibility.   Image retrieved from https://in.pinterest.com/pin Hypocrisy: When Actions Don’t Match Intentions Urdu poets often expose the disco...

Title: The Rise of Online Scamming: Addressing Cyber Fraud Through Cybersecurity Laws and Ethical Frameworks in Islam

Image
In recent years, a concerning trend has emerged among the youth, particularly teenagers and young adults, who have started to shift away from the pursuit of formal education. After completing their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), many question the value of continued education. They argue that the rapid availability of easy ways to earn money makes formal education seem irrelevant. They highlight examples of individuals who have abandoned traditional educational paths yet thrive with wealth, luxury vehicles, posh residences, and extravagant lifestyles, often supplemented with foreign travel. In contrast, those who have pursued formal education and established careers are often perceived as struggling, making the idea of investing time and resources into education seem less worthwhile. This growing sentiment is mirrored by the rise of online scamming, a phenomenon that increasingly involves young people participating in fraudulent activ...
